Is Freelancing Worth it? – It’s Not What You Think (Scam?)

I believe freelancing is overrated.

You see, when you want to make money online, so many people say you should do freelancing.

I tried this and I realised it was complete BS.

My service was top-notch, I knew exactly what I was doing and how to carry out the service.

The problem was, getting people to view the gig. You see, you’re at the mercy of these platforms.

You have to rank in their search engine to get views to your service.

What I realised was the best way to do freelancing was to build your own audience.

You did this by blogging and posting videos on YouTube. Or at least these were the main ways to build your audience, you could also use things like Instagram as well.

When you build your own audience, you can get interested buyers that way.

You won’t be at the mercy of these platforms and you won’t have to pay these ridiculous fees. If you want to grow your audience through blogging and growing a YouTube channel, you’re going to need to learn SEO.

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation.

This is going to allow your articles to rank on Google and YouTube. So if you wanted to sell your personal training service you could write about how to bench press more and rank it on Google.

Unfortunately SEO can be a long and tough process. It can get very in-depth and complicated.

You’re going to have to learn how to do a ton of things. If you want to shortcut this process, I would recommend hiring an SEO consultant who will teach you exactly how to rank.
